A Market for Green Chemistry

The market for safe and environmentally friendly chemicals will grow at a rate 24 times faster than the market for traditional chemicals between 2011 and 2020. That’s one of the major findings of a study undertaken by the American consulting firm, Trucost, at the behest of the Green Chemistry & Commerce Council (CG3) and the American Sustainable Business Council (ASBC). Interviews with 17 industry experts and comprehensive research into articles on the topic form the foundation of the study.
