eBay for Chemicals – Finding Safe Alternatives

ChemSec, the Swedish environmental protection organization, wants to create a portal to help manufacturers of chemicals and products find safe and environmentally friendly alternatives for hazardous materials that have been used in the past. The organization hopes for a platform that brings buyers and sellers together. Up to now, the project has taken only baby steps. The leaders of ChemSec asks prospective and future users for their help. The organization’s Web site asks for opinions and ideas about what the portal should offer.

The need for such a solution is clear. According to information provided by ChemSec, many companies are ready to invest in the safety of their products. However, they often do not have information on possible alternatives to chemicals. An exchange platform could fill this gap.

The ChemSec project SUBSPORT offers an initial impression of the content of such a portal and the features it might offer. ChemSec offers a brochure that highlights the experiences of some companies.

Companies that insist on safe products create trust, and the guarantee of long-term customer retention. We support you in this endeavor. If you have any questions, please contact us as reach@kft.de.
