Pre-registration pursuant to article 28
It's never too late
To use certain transition periods for registration of substances and to allow for an import of phase-in substances, a pre-registration is necessary in accordance with Article 28 of the REACH Regulation. This pre-registration period has expired since 2008. In certain cases, however, is still possible to perform a pre-registration up to a tonnage band of 1-100 t/annum. This is the case in circumstances where the substance was never imported into the EU in quantities of > 1 t/ a, or has never been produced in quantities of > 1 t / a. In addition, the substance must be a so-called phase-in substance.
If these conditions are met, we are happy to perform a late pre-registration on your behalf. To do so, we need access to your REACH-IT account. If this is not available, we will set up this account for you. For the late pre-registration we need:
The late pre-registration must be made no later than 6 months after the first import or the first manufacture. We can perform this pre-registration for you within a short deadline.
