The classification and labelling inventory with ECHA - Europe
According to Regulation (EC) No 1272 /2008 (CLP Regulation), the classification and labelling information for all substances imported into the EU or manufactured in the European Union irrespective of the quantity must be registered in the appropriate database of the ECHA (European Chemical Agency). Exceptions apply to any substances already registered by the registrants under REACH. Information on classification and labelling must also be submitted if a downstream user differs from the classification and labelling of the supplier. KFT performs this obligation to register the classification and labelling in accordance with the law on behalf of your company or group of companies. If necessary, we hold talks with other companies on your behalf in order, as required by law, to arrive at a uniform classification and labelling. The service includes, where appropriate, creation of an IT account with the ECHA (REACH -IT).
Registration with the Federal Institute for Risk Assessment (BfR) - Germany
Under the Chemicals Act, the Biocide Regulation, the Detergents and Cleaning Agents Act and the Cosmetics Regulation, certain reporting requirements apply to the marketing of products that are subject to these laws. They serve to protect consumers and are generally the result of the implementation of European directives. For reporting purposes, the company must set up an account with the Federal Institute for Risk Assessment (BfR). The registration itself can then be done electronically. Depending to the legal background, the data to be provided include the company name, the name of a contact person, the formula and the classification and labelling information. KFT registers your company and performs the reporting obligations. The confirmations are deposited in KFT ChemDoc24 and can be consulted by the employees of your company at any time.
