Tips for Dealing with Dangerous Substances

The Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (Bundesanstalt für Arbeitsschutz und Arbeitsmedizin: BauA) has published a practical guide for risk assessment when dealing with dangerous substances. Managers can use it to determine – quickly and safely – when employees have been harmed when dealing with substances and the appropriate protective measures. The guide focuses on substances that employees inhale and those that come into contact with skin.

The 48-page guide is particularly geared toward managers in small and midsize companies, safety experts, company physicians, and corporate consulting services. If you should require professional support, we would be glad to answer your questions.
