Turkey: More than 77,000 Preregistrations for More than 18,000 Chemicals

So far, some 872 companies have preregistered 18,277 chemicals (status at the end of June) with the Turkish Ministry of Environment and Urbanisation (MoEU). The number of preregistrations
totals 77,037.

The KKDIK Regulation, the Turkish version of the EU’s REACH Regulation, gives companies until December 31 of this year to preregister chemicals. After that date, companies can preregister chemicals that will be marketed in 2021.

The registration phase for chemicals in amounts greater than one ton per year runs until the end of 2023. All registration dossiers must be submitted by then.
