Chemicals Database: ECHA Expands 'ECHA CHEM' Database

The ECHA has added the Classification and Labeling Inventory (C&L) to its publicly accessible database, ECHA CHEM, which provides a quick overview of current classifications.

With the update, C&L now contains information on some 350,000 substances. That makes ECHA CHEM the largest chemical database in the EU. It combines information submitted by industry with data obtained through EU regulatory activities.

Further Developments for ECHA CHEM

The next step will be to integrate the current status of regulatory activities, including decisions on REACH restrictions.
