KFT puts the right experts at your side ...
We will give you an initial overview of the legal requirements for packaging. You will receive a classification of which products and packaging are affected and where there is a need for action. We provide clear orientation and inform you about upcoming changes to the law.
The PPWR provides for uniform labeling requirements for packaging throughout Europe. There is also national legislation in various countries that must be observed in addition to the PPWR. We analyze your packaging and derive specific labels from this. These are designed specifically for your materials and packaging types.
European legislation stipulates compliance with limit values for various substances and groups of substances. We advise you on how to avoid critical substances in packaging and support you in communicating with your packaging suppliers. Outside the EU, different limits apply in some cases, which must be monitored when marketing internationally in order to avoid penalties or product recalls.
The PPWR stipulates extensive documentation and verification obligations for companies that place packaging on the EU market. For many companies, this means setting up structured processes for data collection, documentation and communication with suppliers, customers and authorities. We support you in having all the necessary documents on hand and ensuring the traceability of the data.
Many PPWR requirements will only be specified after their introduction. It is therefore essential to react to new laws at an early stage in order to be able to plan and implement necessary adjustments to packaging in good time. Through our regulatory monitoring, we keep you continuously up to date on changes to packaging legislation.
