PIC Regulation: The ECHA and the Secretariat of the Rotterdam Convention Publish Documents on the PIC Procedure

The Prior Informed Consent (PIC) Regulation covers the import and export of specific hazardous chemicals. The companies affected by the Regulation should be aware of the obligations it imposes on them. Helpful documents on this topic were published in June of this year.

PIC Circular LXI is one key document. Published by the Secretariat of the Rotterdam Convention in English, French, and Spanish, it supports companies in the implementation of the PIC procedure and the exchange of information on hazardous chemicals.
