EU REACH registration of chemicals. For companies in and outside Europe
We are very familiar with the specific legal requirements of Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006 (REACH - Registration, Evaluation and Authorization) and ensure smooth market access for your products. We take over the procurement of all necessary data and documents and carry out the registrations for you.
Legal requirements of the EU REACH Regulation
With the REACH Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006, the EU has established a registration obligation for chemicals in Europe. Various registrations are possible.
What must be taken into be taken into account when registering?
Several crucial questions need to be clarified for REACH registration, e.g:- Should the substance be registered as a full registration (Article 10) or as a transported, isolated intermediate (Article 18)?
- Is the registration carried out as lead registrant or co-registrant?
- Which quantity band is used for registration?
Our solution
For a planned lead registrant submission, we start with a data gap analysis to determine the scope of information and costs required. This allows you to decide whether you wish to proceed. We then assist you with new studies and prepare the IUCLID dossier for pre-submission and registration as well as the chemical safety report (CSR) with the associated derivation of exposure scenarios. Furthermore, we take care of all communication with the authorities, in particular with the ECHA.
We also offer comprehensive services for co-registrations: from the identification of the lead registrant or SIEF manager (SIEF - Substance Information Exchange Forum), the substance identity check with the subsequent preliminary inquiry to the ECHA, the purchase of the rights to the necessary studies (LoA - "Letter of Access") to the preparation and submission of the dossier.
If you operate a business outside the EU, we act as your Only Representative (in accordance with Article 8) to facilitate your access to the European market and fulfill all necessary legal obligations. As an only representative, we support your importers by preparing a legally compliant extended safety data sheet (eSDS) (à link) in the respective national language.
We also assist you after registration with communication with third-party companies or authorities and with any necessary updates.
