Details
The legally compliant classification of substances and mixtures is the basis for safe handling. The classification determines all further measures in the context of storage, handling, safe transportation and disposal. The decision mixture or substance and the resulting classification is the basis for REACH.
The classification also determines the marketability of a product and influences transportation options.
The independent assessment of data sources, the application of the classification criteria of the various legal areas and the recognition of the differences are to be developed and deepened through exercises.

Aids and sources for classification
This training is aimed at professionals such as manufacturers, importers, distributors, formulators and processors who are responsible for the classification and labeling of chemical substances and the preparation, updating or review of safety data sheets. Downstream users, safety officers, trainers and those responsible for hazardous substance management are also addressed
Employees with previous knowledge who are responsible for classifying hazardous substances and goods or who have to check the plausibility of the classification are able to perform these tasks after the training. Thanks to a small number of participants (< 10) and regular written reviews of the course content, the training content is taught in a well-founded manner. This guarantees practical implementation of the legal requirements. All participants receive a certificate for submission to the inspection authority.
