18th ATP: Transition Periods Expire

The 18th ATP to the CLP Regulation (German only) applies as of December 1, 2023. That’s when the 18-month transition period for substances newly included in Annex VI of the CLP Regulation in accordance with Delegated Regulation 2022/692 will expire.

The EU Commission has listed a total of 39 new substances as part of this regulation. Some 17 entries have been revised, and one entry has been deleted.

Companies that manufacture or import these substances must adapt their labeling and packaging to the new requirements by the end of November and amend their SDSs accordingly.

Regulations 2023/1434 (19th ATP to the CLP Regulation) and 2023/1435 (20th ATP to the CLP Regulation) came into force on July 31 of this year.
