Chemicals Management Becomes Measurable

The American environmental organization Clean Production Action has founded the Chemical Footprint project together with its partners, the Lowell Center for Sustainable Production of the University of Massachusettes Lowell and the consulting firm Pure Strategies. The environmental pioneers hope that the
project will promote safe handling of chemicals. For example, when the industry selects suppliers, it should support those who handle chemicals particularly responsible. The environmental organization has issued a Guide that fosters the setup of chemicals management.
