Japan Publishes GHS Guidelines

The Japanese National Institute for Technology and Evaluation (Nite) has published a list of substances that were categorized as new or with another category according to the UN Globally Harmonized System (GHS). The list contains a total of 90 new and 62 reworked categories. For companies that must create safety data sheets, the list is an indispensable source for products that are meant for the Japanese market.

Nite also provided GHS Guidelines online as a PDF file to help managers evaluate the risk of consumer products and label the products correctly.

We offer a broad spectrum of seminars around the compliance aspects of REACH, SDS, GHS/CLP and biocides. Please visit our academy and feel free to contact us.
